I’m Katie Simpson, and it is my absolute privilege to lead this unique and nurturing provision in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside. At Meadow View, we are more than just a school — we are a therapeutic, inclusive community built around the individual needs of our children and their families.

Our pupils are at the centre of everything we do. Each child who joins us brings their own story, strengths, and challenges. Many of our children have experienced significant difficulties prior to joining Meadow View, and our mission is to rebuild their trust in education and unlock their full potential. Through personalised learning, therapeutic approaches, and our connection to the natural world around us, we create a safe, supportive environment where children feel seen, heard, and valued.

One of the things that makes Meadow View so special is our setting. Our school is nestled within a working farm, and we use this as a powerful tool to support regulation, build confidence, and offer real-life learning opportunities that go far beyond the classroom. Whether it’s feeding the animals, working in the garden, or exploring the woodland, our children learn through meaningful, hands-on experiences that foster resilience, responsibility and curiosity.

We are proudly rooted in trauma-informed, attachment-aware practice. Every member of staff is committed to building strong, trusting relationships with the children in our care.
