Safeguarding Your Child

Please see safeguarding for SAFEGUARDING PAGE and all information regarding safeguarding.

Online Safety

Always be careful when your child is using the internet. It can help them to keep in touch with their friends and support with learning – however, it can also cause harm to them and to others.

Remember help is always available at school if they are having any problems navigating the online world.

Don’t be afraid to contact the class teacher or another adult at school, if support is needed.

Tips for staying safe online:

Make sure your child keeps new online friends strictly online. If someone they don't know asks to be their online friend, they must ensure a responsible adult knows about it.

·Know how to use the CEOP Button and how to report it to the CEOP Centre if you are concerned about someone’s online behaviour towards them.
